1. Canadian Police Warn Victims of Package Theft Not to Post The Surveillance Footage of Their Faces

Quebec Police are warning residents not to post surveillance footage of package thieves if they become victims because it may violate their right to a private life.

From Quebue’s communications officer:

“You cannot post the images yourself because you have to remember, in Canada, we have a presumption of innocence and posting that picture could be a violation of private life,”

“If you get some proof that somebody might have stolen something, call the police, give that proof to the police. We’ll do the investigation, bring that person to justice and file some charges,”

Quebue police recommend that the victims of package theft call the police instead and that they may open themselves to a defamation suit if they post their images online.

I sometimes wonder which country is falling further into chaos between the U.S. and Canada. Criminals are going to have more rights than the victims in the future if we don’t remove lunatics from our governments.

2. Philadelphia Man is Forced to Pay Ransom to Squatters to Get Them to Leave His Rental Property

A Pennsylvania man, Chris Harte, faced a frustrating situation when squatters occupied his renovated investment property in Philadelphia.

Despite presenting all necessary documents to the police, they claimed the squatters had rights as supposed renters. The formal eviction process could take over six months, prompting Harte to pay the squatters $1,200 to vacate.

The incident highlights the challenges property owners face with squatters in Philadelphia, exacerbated by legislative changes that weakened protections for homeowners.

Harte criticizes local leadership, attributing the issue to the city’s Democratic governance and expressing frustration with policies that hinder property improvement and city safety.

This is government in a nutshell. You buy a home as an investment property, and then some unwanted guests invade, you call the police to remove them and show all the required legal paperwork to show the property is yours, only to have the police say that these unwanted guests have to the right to be there (There are laws that protect them), and the only solution to get them out is to pay these invaders a ransom.

It really shouldn’t be this hard, it’s your property, and you have every right to kick out anyone who is not authorized to be there, especially if you have the documentation to prove it belongs to you.

This is what happens when idiots/criminals run your government, it’s the criminals that end up having most of the rights.

3. Chicago Mayor Accuses Texas, Governor of Racism, Due to Him Bussing Illegals to His City

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, a Democrat, accuses Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, a Republican, of purposefully “attacking” cities led by black leaders by sending in illegal immigrants.

The claim comes in response to a lawsuit by New York City Mayor Eric Adams against charter bus companies transporting migrants from Texas. Johnson labels Abbott’s actions as “reckless” and “evil-spirited,” drawing ridicule from various political figures.

Abbott previously stated that Texas bussed tens of thousands of illegal immigrants to other cities, providing relief to border towns. The exchange reflects tensions over immigration policies between leaders of different political affiliations and regions.

Mayor Johnson, the problem is not with Governor Abbott, it’s with the head of your party President Joe Biden. All he has to enforce the immigration laws that are already on the books.

As for the accusations of racism, sure, take a page out of  the Reverand Al Sharpton playbook when you can’t hide your failures from your constituents, play the race card.
